A Sign of Thanks

 

Famous for made-to-order ButterBurgers and Fresh Frozen Custard, Culver’s wouldn’t be anything without our nation’s family farms. It’s why “Thank You, Farmers” was a successful campaign showing gratitude towards the local farmers who source ingredients for Culver’s restaurants.

But how could we evolve the campaign in its second year? And extend to other touch-points, including social media, with “no budget"?

Everybody knows a simple thanks can go a long way. And there’s no gratitude more genuine than a thank you note with a smile. So we asked folks to show their gratitude to our nation’s farmers by posting pics of themselves holding a "sign of thanks" for the world to see on social media. Every time folks posted, Culver’s donated to the Future Farmers of America.

Then we just kept going.

RESULT: Over $50,000 raised and tons of earned media. Continued campaign here.
